When buying a bed - FREE FLEX spring frame:

Made of glued laminated birch slats, profiled in a slight arc to increase comfort and resilience of the mattress provide adequate support and ventilation for the mattress.
Two-sided resin-coated.
Consists of a row of slats fastened together with high strength synthetic straps to ensure even and durable distribution of the slats on the bed frame.
Comes with plastic caps on the slats to prevent squeaking and assembly accessories.
