i-Size – The highest level of safety:
The i-Size standard was developed on the basis of many years of analysis of road accidents involving children and laboratory tests using Q-type dummies. Its aim is to ensure the safety of children at a higher level than the previous ECE R44 standard.
Therefore, installation using ISO-FIX and additional fastenings were introduced, completely abandoning the installation with seat belts. Thanks to this, the risk of incorrect installation is minimized. The process of installing the seat in the car is simple and supported by indicators informing about proper installation.

The seat's weight criterion has been replaced with a height criterion that clearly defines how the child can be transported and when. This will make it easier to choose a seat for your child. Situations when a child is shorter or taller or slimmer or thicker compared to peers will no longer be a dilemma; a strict requirement regarding the age and height of the child has been established and the child should be kept rear-facing. This is to prevent hasty decisions about seating the child facing forward. The longer the child travels rear-facing, the better. It is safer, which is confirmed by numerous crash tests.
