PegPerego's Primo Viaggio Lounge car seat will ensure the safety and complete comfort of the little one being transported. Thanks to the Comfort Recline system, the seat can accommodate your child in up to three different positions - sitting, semi-recumbent and reclining - ensuring the most ergonomic and safe position for your baby when walking and driving.

The reclining position in the car requires the use of an i-Size base, which is available for purchase separately. The base has Isofix connectors and a stabilising leg, which can be extended to 12 positions, which additionally reinforces the position of the seat regardless of the profile of the car seat. The i-Size base facilitates the correct installation of the car seat and stabilises it for an even safer journey for your child, which is why we recommend its purchase.

The Primo Viaggio Lounge complies with the latest ECE R129 safety standard, which extends the period of rearward-facing carriage until the child is 87 cm tall, i.e. approx. 15/18 months. The implementation of the new i-Size standard is primarily aimed at making travel safer for children through the introduction of regulations that simplify both the installation of the seat in the car and make it considerably easier for parents to choose the right child seat for their child. The seat is also airplane-approved.

In the 2021 test carried out by the independent test institutes ADAC, OAMTC, TCS and Stiftung Warentest, the Primo Viaggio Lounge received high four-star ratings, making it one of the safest child car seats on the market and the safest i-Size child seat in its category, for children from 40 to 87 cm in height, with the Comfort Recline system that allows reclining positions both on the stroller frame and on the i-Size car seat base.

The PegPerego Primo Viaggio Lounge is fitted with three-point harness straps with soft padding and an additional clip at child's chest level to ensure the straps are correctly positioned and stay in place. In addition, the seat is equipped with ASIP (Adjustable Side Impact Protection), which can be adjusted in 6 positions according to your child's height, and the practical Dual Stage Cushion system consisting of two additional inserts - the headrest and the back and hip protectors - which allows the seat to adapt perfectly to your child's size. Over time, the individual inserts are gradually removed to ensure the most comfortable journey for your growing child.

The generous canopy of the Primo Viaggio Lounge car seat with UPF 50+ sun protection has side mosquito nets to ensure adequate ventilation during travel, and there is an additional panel hidden behind the zip that makes the canopy expand to a large size. The seat also has a practical handle for carrying.

The design of the Primo Viaggio Lounge seat has been created with the greatest possible safety for children's travel in mind. The EPP headrest is made of special polypropylene foam, which has a high energy absorption capacity in the event of an accident or collision. The seat shell is equipped with an EPS system to protect children's arms and chest and absorb energy in the event of a crash. The seat also features the Kinetic system, which absorbs kinetic energy in the event of a side impact. The seat shell is perforated and ensures good air circulation, which has a significant impact on the child's comfort.

The Primo Viaggio LOUNGE can be fitted in the car in two ways:
independently, using the car's seat belts
each time the seat is installed in the car, make sure the car belts are correctly positioned and fully tightened,

with the i-Size base, available for purchase separately, which we recommend for better stabilisation of the seat and easier installation in the car for a safer journey for the child.

The Primo Viaggio Lounge can be mounted on the Book, GT4, Duette and Triplette stroller frames without additional adaptors. Mounting the seat on the Veloce, Vivace and Ypsi stroller frames requires the use of adaptors supplied with the strollers. Once fitted, the adaptors do not need to be removed from the seat.
